The Alliance recently released a petition from over 115 Mayors from 48 states to President Obama calling on the President to recognize the value of general aviation. We need your help to reach out to your Mayor or City/Town Manager to sign the petition and tell the President to support general aviation and airports, which are a crucial lifeline to communities around the country.

John Bell Williams Airport

Owned by Hinds Community College in Raymond, Mississippi, John Bell Williams Airport serves general aviation aircraft and offers fuel and pilot training services to its customers. With 45,000 to 48,000 operations per year, John Bell Williams Airport employs thirty individuals between the airport itself and three other businesses that are housed there. In conjunction with the Hinds County Economic Development District, the airport is developing a 650 acre business/technology park that surrounds it to provide more jobs for county residents.
