Flights for Life, Incorporated (FFL), a non profit organization based in Phoenix, AZ, works in cooperation with hospitals, blood banks, and health-care agencies to transport human blood, tissue and organs around the State of Arizona. The organization also provides free transportation to ambulatory patients within the State of Arizona and adjoining states. Formed in 1984, Flights for Life has grown to 125 volunteers who fly more than 225,000 miles each year. Each pilot donates their time, skill and private aircraft as a contribution to the organization. Warren McIlvoy serves as the President for Flights for Life.
