In 1977, Gene “Bever” Borne had no idea that his first day of hang gliding would lead to a passion for aviation. Back then, operating ultra light aircraft was very physical, as all takeoffs and landings were done by foot. Once the addition of wheels made it easier for individuals to participate in hang gliding, Borne decided that he would dedicate his career to developing products that would make using ultra light aircraft safer, easier, and simpler.
